Now are you going to go away today and make some videos like […]

A video marketing testimonial from Liz What a delightful surprise to pop into Facebook for a quick update and to find this delightful message from Liz: check out my Youtube Channel >> I’m super chuffed because Liz sent me a message from Bath (in the UK), and I’m living in a beach-side location on the east coast near Brisbane, Australia. Finding like-minded souls online to share our work and passion with is so rewarding! And I’m thrilled to bits that Liz loves my animated avatar videos — because I love them too! Why am I excited about a video marketing testimonial? […]

Click the video to play: Let’s have a quick chat about Talking Head Videos A “talking head” video is one where someone talks directly to camera while presenting information, like a newsreader, talk show host and guests etc. For some people, the mere idea of talking to a camera to make a video is frightening and overwhelming, and may prevent them from ever trying to do so. For others it feels natural and they thoroughly enjoy being the “star” of their own video. For many people though the emotions fall somewhere between those two :-) Two Different Video Styles In […]

How to rewrite your old tired 3 minute elevator pitch

I always loved the idea of the 3 minute elevator pitch or speech — but times have changed and we need to rethink our message – let me help you get started. “Teena, what’s a 30 second or 3 minute elevator pitch?” Once upon a time in a faraway world … oh wait! That was here on Earth, not so long ago :-) The “pitch” in an elevator came about because business owners were having an imaginary ride in an imaginary elevator/lift, and had 3 minutes maximum to explain what they do in their business. As we are now experiencing […]

This is a great question posted this month by Judy, and I understand that very few business owners know what to do when they first publish their website, or when they think about marketing so here are a few simple suggestions: We have had our website and blog up for a little while, and I just followed a 5 day course to make sure the website was ready.  But I just went to Google to search, for fun I guess, and my name does not come […]

“Teena, how to create a video fast with a couple of images?” This is a question I’m asked quite often, and this week it was an email from Julianna on the other side of the world.  There are many software solutions available which you can buy, some on your computer already, but as Julianna is not very tech-savvy, I wanted to share the absolute simplest method with her. So today I’m going to show you an extremely simple online option: requires no login requires no email just upload images and save to desktop. First of all: gather the images you’re […]
