Do you know about these 11 ways to repurpose your video content?
Hi, I’m Teena Hughes. Today I’ll show you ways to create more videos to help your business.
The best way is to start with your YouTube videos or any video you’ve created, which might be gathering dust on your computer or phone.
Square Videos
I start with one of my YouTube videos and then I create a Square version of it. I can then share the square video on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Adding a progress bar at the bottom of the video is great for viewers who can’t have the volume on or up high. I also like to add captions, which is great for viewers who can’t have the volume on too.
Tall Portrait Videos
Next I start with the same YouTube video and then I create a Tall portrait version, which also has the progress bar and which has the captions below the video. The great news is I can share these tall portrait videos on Instagram stories, IG TV and YouTube Stories.
Landscape Videos
For the next batch of videos. I start with the exact same YouTube video and then I create a Landscape version which has the captions and I also put a title at the top and a progress bar. Woohoo! I can share this landscape version of the video on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Okay – from that one YouTube video, I now have 11 additional (potential) mini advertisements.
11 Potential Videos to post on Social Media
Four of them are square, three of them are tall portrait shape and four of them are landscape.
Right now you might be feeling totally overwhelmed because that’s way too many videos — but really, it doesn’t have to be that hard, so just think about it.
Do you need all of this video content? And the answer is no — only the videos you want right now.
Make Only 3 Videos – and Share
Don’t forget, you didn’t have to make 11 new videos. You only made three new video shapes and then you could use each of those in multiple locations. How great is that?
